The Library Board has scheduled a special meeting Wednesday with its architect to discuss renovations to the new building on 736 Main St.
Architect Sean Zaudke with Multistudio presented multiple renovation options to the board earlier this month. The cheapest option would cost $624,000, but board member Amy Jankowski said at last week’s board meeting that the library does not have enough funds to pay for this option.
President Kenny Massey said he thinks the board will be able to lower the cost. The board will go through a breakdown of the costs and the different options available with Zaudke.
The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the new library building.
