STATEBOUND: Cardinals win substate, will face Bishop Miege in quarterfinals

The Cardinals girls basketball team defeated Ottawa 45-28 Friday night to win the substate championship for the second year in a row and advance to the quarterfinals.

The team will face Bishop Miege at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Kansas City Kansas Community College.
