The City Commission will hear updates on the status of the Nottingham Center development at Monday’s meeting.
During a work session after the regular business items, representatives from Foundations Inc. will present an update for discussion with commissioners.
During the work session the city will also review the results of the south Eudora traffic study that was discussed at the last meeting and in a recent meeting with the school board during the work session.
During regular business, the commission will hear a presentation from the Douglas County Housing Stabilization Collaborative and Community Navigator Laura Smith.
The city will also review a budget report for the first quarter of 2024. This is a new practice for the city and will continue for each quarter to stay on top of budget conversations.
The commission will also receive a presentation to consider allowing the city manager to enter into a contract with Vieste for economic development services. Vieste is a company the city has worked with in the past.
The city will also vote to consider permitting the distribution and possession of alcohol at the 2024 CPA Picnic.
A report of staffing updates regarding new employees and certifications will also be presented, as well as the results of the 2023 Eudora employee Stay Survey
