Over 550 people have voted at the Rec Center as of 5:30 p.m. Poll workers said they have had a steady stream of people the entire day, and poll worker Karla Grosdidier said the turnout has been much higher than she expected. Watch Bella’s update here.
Update 4:30 p.m.
As of 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, 1,062 votes were cast across the city’s three polling locations, according to the county election office. Of these, 422 were advance votes and 640 votes were cast today. There are about 5,500 registered voters in town.
1:15 p.m.
Annalynn stopped over at Eudora Baptist Church. The polling location has seen 137 voters so far, according to election worker Teresa Carnagie. Watch her report here.
11:30 a.m.
As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, 766 votes were cast across the city’s three polling locations, according to the county election office. Of these, 422 were advance votes and 344 votes were cast today. There are about 5,500 registered voters in town.
10 a.m.
Eudora City Hall saw 15 voters in the first hour of voting this morning, according to election worker Diane Massey. But many voters have gone to the wrong polling place.
