After responding to a call about a disturbance near the Early Learning Center, there was an increased police presence around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Eudora Police responded to a call about a disturbance near the cul-de-sac area just west of the district office, Superintendent Stu Moeckel said. Out of an abundance of caution, officers had students on the playground for the extended day program come inside, Moeckel said.
Moeckel said he didn’t have more information about the nature of the call, but said the district was thankful for its partnership with the department and other responding agencies during a situation like this one. Officers stuck around for around 25 to 30 minutes, he said.
