A driver was transported to the hospital after a medical emergency caused a crash on Ninth and Main Street Thursday morning.
A Eudora woman driving south on Main Street crashed between 7:30 and 8 a.m., said Lt.Thomas Willis. The woman left the roadway and hit a light pole, tree and church sign, he said.
The fire and police departments were on the scene to clean up the street and repair exposed
electrical equipment but have since completed the clean-up, he said. The damaged street light was taken down and made safe, Willis said.
The driver was transported to Overland Park Regional with non-life threatening injuries, Willis said.
Main Street is open to drivers.
