The police department and sheriff’s office will be using the middle school for a training exercise this week and should cause no concern to residents.
The joint training exercises will be taking place Tuesday and Wednesday and are proactive drills to ensure safety and preparedness of law enforcement.
The school district posted on Facebook Monday to let residents know there would be vehicles and activities around the middle school, but that it is a planned exercise.
