The City Commission will consider support for a grant to help pay for renovations at Barbwire Barbecue at its Monday night meeting.
The resolution for consideration would declare the city’s support for a Community Development Block Grant for commercial rehabilitation for the restaurant.
The city will also consider a contractual agreement with the design-builder they recommended, Burns and MacDonald. The resolution is related to continued conversation about the water treatment plant project.
The commission will also discuss the development of the 2026 budget.
A proclamation recognizing the Douglas County Community Foundation and Eudora for 25 years of charitable action week.
There will also be an executive session following the meeting to discuss the quarterly evaluation for City Manager Kevyn Gero.
