A joint meeting between the County Commission and City Commission will give commissioners a chance to hear and discuss updates within the area.
The Monday special meeting will discuss county updates, including the judicial and law enforcement renovation, as well as FIFA 2026 coordinating and open space planning.
The city will also share updates on its development projects with the county.
The meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Monday before the regular City Commission meeting at 7 p.m. Both will be at City Hall.
During the city’s regular meeting, there will be public hearings related to industrial revenue bonds for the Paschal’s Landing and 10 Union Lofts projects. The hearings will be followed by the commission’s consideration to pass a resolution about them.
There will also be a public hearing related to the Community Development Block Grant application for the renovations at Pilla Park.
The commission will hear a biannual update from the Chamber of Commerce, as well as consider a permit for alcohol sales and consumption at the 2025 Main Street markets.
The city will also consider authorizing the city manager to enter into an agreement with Mid America Bank for city banking services.
The commission will also enter into executive session for a quarterly evaluation of City Manager Kevyn Gero.
