The Eudora Times won 25 awards from the annual Kansas Press Association contest for its work in reporting, photography and special projects.
Included in those 25 awards were eight first-place wins.
The state competition allows the Times to compete against other papers in Kansas of a similar circulation size. A convention later this summer will recognize the staff winners.
The Times won a second place award for best magazine for its 7 over 70 print edition. This piece recognized senior citizens doing extraordinary things in the community – a population that is regularly underserved in the industry.
“For the past six years, The Eudora Times has illustrated that our work matters not only to the community but is recognized by other professionals in our field as making a difference,” Publisher Teri Finneman said.
