The Eudora Times Voters Guide is now available in printed form in select locations.
Residents can find copies of the 50-page guide featuring all 11 candidates for City Commission and School Board at Zeb’s, the library and the community center.
Times Publisher Teri Finneman said voters guides are a critical service for newspapers to provide. However, they are also expensive. The project cost the Times’ staff about $1,000 to produce.
“Our revenue comes solely through donations so that we can continue to do reporting,” Finneman said. “We need more support so that we’re able to do more.”
The goal had been to print enough voters guides for residents to be able to take one. However, the Times could not afford to print more than 20 guides.
