The Home is Where it Happens event scheduled for Saturday has been canceled due to weather concerns.
The event will be rescheduled for the fall.
“This was a difficult decision, but out of respect for the homeowner’s property getting walked on after a heavy rain, not being able to walk/sit in the grass comfortably and especially the danger of a thunderstorm warning, the Eudora Events & Chamber of Commerce committee have decided to postpone our May 8 event to the early fall,” a posting on the Eudora Events Facebook page said Friday morning.
About 50 booths were slated to be at the event, along with live music, activities, raffles, a petting zoo and food.
Details about when the event will be rescheduled will be released at a later time.
