Homecoming Committee: Madison Sanchez of Eudora, a sophomore majoring in hospitality management, has been named one of the students on Kansas State University’s 2021 Homecoming student committee. The committee is chosen to help with planning of university homecoming events, creating rules and guidelines for student competitions and promoting and staffing all events.
Home is Where It Happens: The Eudora Chamber of Commerce and CVB are hosting this Saturday’s ‘Home is Where It Happens’ meet and greet event for community businesses and nonprofits. The free event will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Private Gardens Event Space.
The Good Neighbor section will publish every Wednesday when there is content.
We will publish event notices once for free before requiring the purchase of an ad.
We also will accept birth announcements, engagement/marriage/anniversary announcements, high school and college graduation announcements, and pet news. Pet news could include announcement of a new pet, a story about a pet or an obituary for a pet. The cost of these various announcements will be $20 each, which includes a photo submission. The fee is to support personnel who must prepare this information for publication.
