The Eudora Times won 25 reporting, multimedia and advertising awards in the Kansas newspaper contest, including 12 first-place awards.
The Times competes against other professional newspapers in Kansas that have a similar circulation size. The newspaper’s staff will be recognized in June during the industry’s annual convention.
Publisher Teri Finneman said the number of awards tripled from what the newspaper won the prior year.
“As The Eudora Times continues to grow and establish itself, we are proud of the statewide recognition for the work of our reporters,” she said. “Not only that, but this illustrates the strength of the newsroom as a whole with how many of our staffers were recognized.”
