The Eudora Schools Foundation raised a record total of $59,413.92 for its third annual Give Day.
The proceeds will go toward Eudora schools and creating new programs, providing student and teacher resources, and supporting teacher recognition.
Donations spanned from Feb. 1 to March 10. Gift matches from local sponsors cumulated $8,200 of the funds. Another $4,000 was raised from student coin drives.
The foundation raised $49,028.46 on its official Give Day, March 7.
The over $10,000 increase since then led it well above its original goal of $50,000.
