Hayrides begin

Parks and Rec started its Hayrack Rides Tuesday evening. The ride goes through town and showcases homes decked out for the holidays. Two 45-minute rides occur every Tuesday and Thursday until Dec. 19.

Residents can call the Rec Center at 785-542-3434 to sign up and see what availability there is. Each rider needs to be registered with the Rec Center since there is a limited space on each trip. 

The department is suggesting a $2 donation per rider.
