Six Eudora students are receiving university achievements.

Washburn University announced its spring 2024 dean’s list. Students must be enrolled in 21 credit hours and earn a GPA between 3.4 and 3.99. 

These Eudora students were included: 

Kale Hammerschmidt 

Abby Keltner 

Cole Parker 

Dalton Shrum 

Also at Washburn, Stella Whalen was inducted into the spring president’s list. To be placed on the list, students must earn a GPA of 4.0. 

A group of students was inducted into Missouri State University’s Phi Kappa Phi honor society. 

Membership to the group is by invitation only for the top 7.5% of juniors and the top 10% of seniors. 

Reilley Moore from Eudora was inducted this year.

The Good Neighbor section will publish when there is content. We will publish event notices once for free before requiring the purchase of an ad.

We also will accept new job announcements, birth announcements, engagement/marriage/anniversary announcements, high school and college graduation announcements, and pet news. Pet news could include announcement of a new pet or an obituary for a pet. The cost of these various announcements will be $10 each. The fee is to support personnel who must prepare this information for publication.
