The Eudora Times is looking to recognize eight people in the community over the age of 80 who continue to make a difference.
Many years ago, I did this same project in North Dakota, and it was one of my favorites. Senior citizens make so many great contributions to their towns that often go unrecognized.
One kept her little town’s library going. Another spent significant hours volunteering at the county historical museum. Another continued to farm to support the nation’s agriculture needs. They were all great stories that have stuck with me all these years later.
So, we’re looking to do the same here. We need your help nominating who would be good to feature in our upcoming magazine.
Nominations should include the nominee’s name, age, and current and past contributions to Eudora. Contact information for the nominee would also be helpful.
You can email these details to us at [email protected]. We’d like all nominations in by Feb. 16.
