Familiar faces will continue on the staff of The Eudora Times this fall.
Sara Maloney is continuing as a full-time employee as managing editor this semester thanks to support from the KU School of Journalism.
Born and raised in Overland Park, Sara is a lifelong Kansan. She’s loved covering the Eudora community for the last two years and looks forward to what’s to come. She’s enjoyed getting to know the community and tell residents’ stories. In her free time, Sara enjoys exploring new coffee shops and antique stores, as well as tending to her houseplants.

Cuyler Dunn is sports editor. He is a junior at KU and was born and raised in Lawrence. Cuyler has written for a handful of local newspapers and has a passion for covering sports. He has loved getting connected with the Eudora community and is excited to continue covering the Cardinals. When he’s not reporting, Cuyler loves music and is a member of the KU Chamber Choir.
Annalynn Phanthadeth is a photographer. Born in Alaska but raised in Winfield, Kansas, she is excited to cover a small town that reminds her of home. In her free time, she often attends concerts, goes on vacations and spends time with her friends and family.
Ryn Drummond is a news reporter. She is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and is a junior at KU. Ryn has been working with the Times for a year and enjoys engaging with residents and making new connections. She is the host and producer of our new weekly newscast called Ryn’s Rundown that airs Friday afternoons on Facebook.
Teri Finneman is the publisher. This year marks 25 years since her first journalism internship with the Bismarck Tribune. She is from North Dakota and has worked for many media outlets throughout her career. She is a journalism professor at KU and hosts the Journalism History podcast and The First Ladies podcast. She is working on her latest book, News Desert U, exploring other universities that help provide local news for communities. She co-authored the book Reviving Rural News.
