A university announced a local graduate and LMH Health will host an informational conversation and Q&A.
Washburn University announced its summer 2024 graduating class. Kelsey Scarlett of Eudora graduated with a master of education with an emphasis in high incidence.
Members of the community are invited to a community conversation with LMH Health President and CEO Russ Johnson.
The event will be from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Lawrence Public Library’s auditorium.
There will be a brief presentation and a question and answer session with hospital leadership. Here are some of the topics:

Maintaining independence as a community hospital in the midst of challenging industry circumstances

Providing information about LMH Health’s strategic clinical partnership with the University of Kansas Health System

Funding sources for the health system, including Medicare and the role of the LMH Health Foundation

Where LMH Health invests, including workforce and patient-centered technology
-
Clinical care, quality and service
