Eudora received one of 31 grants awarded across Kansas for the Transportation Alternatives program, according to a press release from the governor’s office. The program is funded through the Kansas Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Safety Improvement Program.
“This investment is more than just improving infrastructure – it’s about strengthening the safety, accessibility, and mobility of our communities,” Gov. Laura Kelly said in the release.
The program awarded nearly $31.5 million in grants this year, the most funding given since the launch of Transportation Alternatives in 2019.
