The Douglas County Treasurer’s Office is moving into a larger space on Sixth Street in Lawrence later this month.
The Treasurer’s Office will move from its satellite office at 2000 W. 31st St. in south Lawrence. That location will close at 5 p.m. Oct. 25.
The new office at 2601 W. Sixth St. will open at 8 a.m. Oct. 28 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. There will also be an office inside the County Courthouse open at the same time.
The location in Baldwin City inside the Baldwin City Market will continue to be open the second full week of each month.
Residents can also renew their motor vehicle taxes and pay property taxes online.
