City commissioners will meet Monday evening with members of the Eudora Township Board but don’t plan to take any action during the meeting.
Public notice of the joint meeting noted there isn’t an official agenda for the event starting at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
During the regular City Commission meeting at 7 p.m., commissioners will receive a biannual update from the Eudora Area Historical Society. Ben Terwilliger will provide updates on partnerships with the schools, the museum’s core exhibit, increased visitation numbers, upcoming programming and memberships.
Commissioners will also hear a presentation about the Douglas County climate action plan, which is considering climate impacts on housing, mobility, land use, food access and local economics.
City officials will also report on the budget and on the Johnson County transportation study.
