Interviews for the new high school principal will likely be this week, Superintendent Stu Moeckel said Monday.
After news came at the end of March that Principal Justin Bogart would not return for a second year, Moeckel said the board would start immediately looking for a replacement.
The timeline is significantly shorter since the board had a year to find Ron Abel’s replacement, but Moeckel said the district had nine applicants.
Moeckel said the goal is to have interviews then possibly call a special board meeting early next week to hire the next principal.
