This year’s spring play promises laughs but also explores some hard-hitting, serious topics, cast member Griffin VandeWeerd said.
There will be three opportunities to see “Late Bus” this week.
The show is about different groups of kids staying after school to catch the late bus. All kinds of kids come together, like nerdy kids, jock kids and more, VandeWeerd said.
The show has humor, but it also touches on breaking the status quo, he said.
”I really like the idea of people from all different corners of life just getting to meet and, you know, getting to know each other,” he said.
The performances will be at 7 p.m. Thursday Feb. 20 , 7 p.m. Saturday Feb. 22 and 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 23. Tickets will be available at the door.
