Closures are starting as weather reports call for extremely low wind chills and snow Tuesday and Wednesday.
Eudora schools will be closed Tuesday.
The Eudora Methodist Church has canceled its regular Wednesday food distribution. The next distribution opportunity will be March 19.
KU will close its Lawrence, Edwards and Leavenworth campuses Tuesday, All classes in-person and online will be canceled. Employees who can work hybrid or online will work remotely and only employees who are weather essential are required to come to campus.
The Eudora Community Library will also close Tuesday.
The Douglas County Senior Resource Center, along with Senior Wheels, will be closed, as well.
