Residents will have a second opportunity to attend an open house for the Parks and Rec master plan project this week.
From 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, residents can share their thoughts on final recommendations of the master plan and share feedback on future park enhancements during the event at the community center. It will be an open-house format, so residents can drop by anytime within the two-hour window. There will be no formal presentations.
In 2024, the city partnered with JEO Consulting Group to develop a 10-year parks and rec plan to address current and future needs in Eudora. The plan is focused on making sure parks are strategically located, maintained and designed to serve all residents.
The final plan is scheduled to be completed in April.
