Tootsie rolls, Twix bars, M&M’s and many more candies rained down on the streets of Eudora during the homecoming parade Wednesday night. The homecoming court candidates also took center stage at the conclusion of the parade. The candidates include Kole Manley, Sophie Whalen, Adrion Seals, Sydney Owens, Christian Koehn, Rayah Foltz, Zach Arnold and Parker Long.
Colorful floats, classic cars, fall sports athletes and homecoming king and queen candidates parade Wednesday through downtown De Soto with the high school band leading the way. The homecoming pep rally that followed took place at the football field where the Wildcat cheerleaders cheered, the Diamonds dance team danced, the youth Wildcat cheerleaders performed and the annual Powder Puff flag football games took place where freshman played against sophomores and juniors against seniors.
